A True Healing Science for Healthcare Professionals–Presented by Susan Taylor, PhD
Meditation has been recognized as one of the most powerful techniques available to restore balance and vitality on a mental, emotional and physical level.
The Meditation Specialist™ Competency Training is a complete course in the theory, science, and practice of meditation therapy with a focus on the use of meditation as a true healing science that can be applied in a wide variety of health conditions. It prepares attendees to assist patients who are suffering from healthcare conditions such as cancer, pain, cardiovascular disease, anxiety and depressive disorders, for example with practical applications for everyday use.
The training combines online learning, practice sessions, and live webinars. There is also a separate "in-person" 5-day program (Sept. 18-22, 2013). After attending the entire training (webinars, online learning and 5-day program or equivalent), students will learn the skills required to enable them to sit for the National Meditation Specialist™ Certification Board exam*.
Earn 36.0 contact hours for the online readings, practice and webinar sessions.
Online readings will begin October 8, 2012. Webinar courses will begin Thursday, October 11, 2012.
All webinars will be recorded and will be available until December 12, 2012.
